You don’t need an ice cream maker to make and enjoy the fresh tasting icy fruit sorbet. Perfect for summer as it is not packed with calories. Choose your favorite ripe fruit, cut into small chunks and place in a Cuisinart or blender and add 1T fresh lemon juice. Blend into a smooth paste. Add 3-4 T maple syrup or sugar syrup. Combine. Freeze for 4 hours and serve. You can make it from frozen fruits using the same recipe and serve immediately. When blending, short bursts are better as it won’t melt the frozen fruit. Enjoy!
