NOW HIRING: PRODUCE STOCK CLERK
The Market Supermarket is one of the leading supermarkets on the island of Eleuthera and boasts the largest selection of gourmet, organic and international foods.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Fully and creatively stock, display and label produce.
- Maintain pricing and packaging of produce.
- Maintain cleanliness and order within produce department.
- Assists with creating reorder lists.
- Reduce and minimize wastage/spoilage of produce.
- Conduct regular produce inspection.
- Provide professional, consistent and friendly customer service to customers as needed.
Preferred Skills/Abilities:
- Quick learner
- Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Exceptional work ethic.
- Possess physical strength and stamina necessary to lift boxes and remain walking and standing for extended periods.
- Works well with team members.
Job location and Store hours:
Located in South Eleuthera. Store hours: Mondays thru Saturdays 8:00 am to 4:30 pm as scheduled.
Salary range: Commensurate with experience
