Humans are so blessed to have medicine in our food. Nature packs vitamins, minerals and other vital nutrients, in all of the natural foods that we consume. If we choose the right foods, we will automatically be getting the right combinations of these nutrients that our body needs. There is an old adage, “Don’t mess with Mother Nature” and it is so true. She also gave us water to purify our body and remove any toxins. We must remember to drink enough water each day to be healthy especially in this hot and humid
weather. A 5% drop in body fluids causes a 25-30% loss of energy for most people. We should be drinking 1 litre of water for each 40 lbs of body weight. Drinking water can also help us to lose weight. Always have a bottle of water close by and remember to drink. Please don’t forget our animal friends. They too need water or they will die. Place a fresh bowl of water out each day for them!
