We take apples for granted but they are packed with antioxidants and fiber and provide our bodies with valuable nutrition. Eat apples whole or chop and add them to your salads for extra crunch. You can also make a quick and easy apple tart for a delicious dessert.

Buy a package of Pepperidge Farm Puff Pastry from our freezer section, defrost and roll out one sheet. Thinly slice about 3-4 peeled apples, add a little sugar, nutmeg and cinnamon and place mixture in the middle of the puff pastry. Fold each of the 4 pastry points to the middle, covering the apple mixture. Leave a small opening at the center and press the pastry seams together creating a square stuffed tart. Bake in a preheated 425 degree oven for about 15-20 minutes. Watch as baking times vary with the size of the oven. The tart should be lightly browned. Enjoy with your favorite ice cream!
